<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
You still need a valid key installed in your system though,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> so basically it's good for <b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>"rental"<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> media which expire.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> With this,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> you can remove the protection completely if you can play the file in the first place.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>

Looks like the patch Microsoft promised and later provided,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> didn't last long!<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> As reported earlier,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> FairUse4WM is a program that can almost instantaneously strip the Windows DRM from Windows Media DRM 10 and 11 files,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> rendering them ready for use in any way.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> FairUse4WM does the job without any re-encoding,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> so this leaves the file in the same condition it was prior to the removal of the digital rights management.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> Quite a dangerous tool to online vendors of music,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> or folks selling video,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> as they must provide security to the copyright holder!<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> The program is spreading like wildfire across the Internet and was quickly spotted on the Redmond radar.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
In response,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> Microsoft stated they were working on a fix,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> which they provided within three days of their statement.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> However,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> the developer(s)<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> of FairUse4WM came up with a version 1.2,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> almost immediately,<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b> that can once again remove the DRM from files.<b style="color:#FFA34F"></b>
